OVERVIEW

Fraying at the edge, the second in the Amish of Summer Grove series, has an intriguing plot. Two babies were switched at birth and since that was discovered, they are expected to live with their birth families for a time. Arianna Brenneman and Skylar Nash, now twenty years old, are experiencing life in totally different ways. Arianna has been taken from the Amish life she grew up with and is under the rule of her atheist father who wants her to experience all she has missed. Life seems to be tilting for her. And Skylar, a typical twenty first century woman is forced to live with her Amish family or face months in rehab.

Yet new ties do form in their families with both learning valuable lessons. The most important lesson, of course, is allowing God to work in their lives.
