Overview:

In Scotland in the 14th century, a chieftain named Hector is betrothed for political reasons. He has a sordid past but now has changed and given his life to Christ. His betrothed is breathtakingly beautiful but he feels no love for her, instead his heart belongs to Cara, a young Irish widow. It soon becomes obvious that she loves him as well.
