Cara Tucker, an historical anthropologist,  has a summer opportunity to interpret old journals that relay life in centuries’ old history. These journals are about mines, written in a long forgotten language and the job is a dream come true. A dream come true until not long after Cara arrives, strange things begin to happen. Sheriff Brad Mitchell arrives to solve the mysteries but as one strange event seems to be cleared, another one happens. It is very interesting task to the reader trying to figure out all the mysteries but Cara and Brad work together to bring about a conclusion.
