One Response to “Blazen”

  1. As a church librarian, I so appreciate the book reviews. It would be helpful to also include the publisher on all resources, please. Though I understand that several of formerly “Christian” owned publishing houses, no longer are?
Your rating system is even more helpful when there is explanation of why the reviewer gave that number. As in the above item, “Blazen” the reviewer gave it a 3 but did not explain why? I usually don’t consider anything for our library lower than 3 1/2-4*
Some others seem to give every fiction they read a 5*?
I would also appreciate a definition of what is considered “Christian impact”?
It seems so many books that are labeled “Christian” have very little to no “Christian content”.
I really enjoyed the one Library conference I attended with you in Wheaten 2010 🙂 but due to the distance, scheduling, etc. it is very difficult to attend.
Can you recommend any other Church Library Conferences closer to my mid-Atlantic location in DE? I have attended one with the Virginia Church Library Conferences in the past.
Thank you for the ECLA Blog, it’s one of the first E-mails I check.
    Have a blest day.
