Pastor Dave Willis brings love to the forefront of readers’ minds in his book The Seven Laws of Love. Within the pages, Willis uses shared stories, research, and personal anecdotes to lay out a foundation for his seven principles of love. From exploring commitment to truth to discerning values for eternity, Willis delves into a multi-layered definition of love that is applicable in all aspects of life. He also provides discussion questions after each chapter. Not only that, but he highlights how the different aspects of love can be applied in daily life and how love can deepen, transform, and mold interpersonal relationships.

Suggested Audience

While I believe this book is targeted toward believers, I think it may be best suited for new believers, non-Christians, or those who are seeking a change in their life. Seasoned Christians will already be aware of much of what is shared in these pages. That being said, everyone can glean something from the knowledge and experiences shared within the pages.

Christian Impact

Love is one of the greatest aspects of Christianity; this book encompasses many aspects of love and how it applies to the different relationships people have, whether it is with neighbors, family members, colleagues, friends, or God.
