OVERVIEW

With just 11 words, You Can Do This begins with a powerful invitation.

“I’d like to invite you to stop being unhappy with yourself.”

In the following pages, Tricia Lott Williford explores the depths of her call to action with personal anecdotes, wisdom, and a charming voice. As a single mother and then a remarried widow, she speaks candidly about how her journey of loss led her to hope and confidence. From bullies to boundaries, Williford addresses facets of building and rebuilding confidence in 19 engaging chapters. She even includes an appropriate action exercise at the end of each chapter to give readers a way to step forward with what they have learned. In all, Williford boils the somewhat complex pursuit of confidence into an attainable commodity. Her mantra? You can do this.

I pulled out my highlighter on the first page of this book and couldn’t set it down until I was finished. Williford’s words are challenging and genuine, making this book all the more relevant and relatable. Her approach in tackling the hefty invitation she poses is methodical and well organized, presenting information clearly and concisely. I can say with confidence that this book will have a lasting impact on any woman who has ever felt overlooked or underestimated.
