OVERVIEW

This book provides Scripture-based explanations and guidelines for love, dating, marriage, and sex. Readers will gain a deeper understanding of how to live out their romantic relationships in a way that aligns with scriptural training and glorifies God. The book’s chapters alternate between Jeff and Alyssa’s points of view, giving readers both male and female perspectives on each topic. The book is geared toward people who are seeking God’s design for love and relationships, but it is even beneficial for those who aren’t yet in a relationship, for it helps individuals discern a worthy mate. Love That Lasts also covers many specific Christian topics, such as discussions related to how Christ offers redemption, love, and salvation. Jeff and Alyssa do a fantastic job of connecting the Christian gospel message to relationships, and of teaching readers how to follow God’s perfect plan for their relationships. Because there are so many topics being discussed in the book, sometimes the writing can seem a bit jumbled and difficult to follow. However, Jeff and Alyssa do an adequate job of summarizing the main message at the end of each chapter, which makes the book easier to follow and understand.
