Introduction

Title: High Cotton

Author: Debby Mayne

Publisher: Gilead Publishing

Publication Date: 2017

Format: Paperback

Length: 295 pages

OVERVIEW

High Cotton is a very sweet story about a family as they prepare for a family reunion, especially a half dozen cousins. Romance, relationships, jobs, housing; they all enter into this story. There is a strong Christian worldview but it doesn’t really enter the book until the second half. The characters are definitely all believable as they attempt to get along with other family members, share their darkest secrets and find the right partners. This is a light story but certainly entertaining and one that is a quick read.
