Millie Sullivan is a single young woman working two jobs on St. Simons Island, Georgia in order to support herself and her elderly grandmother who has worsening dementia.  Her Grandma Joy is soon to be evicted from her current facility because of her growing needs, and Millie does not have the money she desperately requires to provide for Joy.  While working one of her jobs at a palatial chateau she learns that her great grandmother was a guest on the estate in 1929. Millie finds her great grandmother’s lost diary and learns she may have a link to a hidden treasure somewhere on the estate.

Security guard Ben discovers her snooping and Millie agrees to split any treasure that is discovered if he will help her.  Thus begins Millie and Ben’s adventure that involves old family secrets, mystery, and romance.
