OVERVIEW

This is a sweet and simple book about prayer. The author states in early pages that she used extreme care in her use of words. Such as referring to God simply as God or Spirit throughout the book, sparing the use of metaphor or symbol because of the developing faith of a child and a strong emphasis on God’s love, on gratitude and on grace.

The reader will find prayers for every day (such as morning prayers), milestones (like pregnancy or adoption), celebrations (birthday prayers and birthday blessings), difficult times (death or the loss of a pet) and more. At the end of the book, the author has also given readers several pages on which to record their own family prayers or to create them.
