OVERVIEW

If you have not read Ted Dekker previously, be prepared for the ride he always gives, this time along with daughter Rachelle. Deep in the hills of Tennessee a cult resides behind red ropes, intending to keep the residents safe and the Fury out! Grace is a young wife (although not intended to actually live with her husband until a child is conceived) living with her mother and brother behind those barriers. When unexpected visitors from the outside arrive and her brother begins questioning, her way of life and thinking is shattered. Grace takes huge chances to save a young man named Eli, called her brother by her long absent father. Could he really be her brother? Could his message of peace be actually true? Who can she believe?

This story is compelling and hard to put down. The Dekkers make an awesome writing team in the thriller genre. Readers will be intrigued by the plot and the characters, human and otherwise.
