OVERVIEW

Many of the questions that kids ask about the early times of Christianity (and maybe some that adults ask, too) are included in this well written and appealing book. Charts, graphics, maps and more add to the display of info. What about the gladiators? What kind of food did the early Christians eat? How about bathrooms? And, of course, questions about Christianity itself – how did this group of followers grow into a religion? What kind of opposition did they have. Truly, everything from A to Z.

ASSESSMENT

Rating (1 to 5):

5

Suggested Audience:

Early elementary through middle elementary

Christian Impact:

Gives a wonderful overview to readers of the time of early Christianity, about Christianity itself as well as the world Christians were living in.

Other Notes:

The amazing illustrations in this book add so very much to the clarity of the information.
