Overview:

Thom Darkfell is an unlikely hero. He is rather a man of peace who loves books and study. He is an esteemed academic in his country using his cartography abilities in advising the King. Because of this he has been exempted from the military. That is, until rumors of dark happenings and many casualties lands Thom in the losing army of Lomair. Thom tries to ignores the fables he is hearing until a monster right before his eyes changes all that. Darkfell is armed with a map, a tutor and his best friend and sets out to find the star daughter and lock the barrier to his country. If he fails all will be lost.
