OVERVIEW:
President and CEO of Living Water International, Michael Mantel, shares his spiritual journey and
encourages others to find adventure and purpose in God’s redemptive story. As he shares his own story,
he encourages others to find their own stories along with learning about the story of the work that the
body of Christ is doing in the world today.
The book is divided into three parts. The first part is entitled, “You will Be My Witnesses” and contains
the author’s reflections on his descent into the dark night of the soul that catalyzed the rest of his story.
The second part is entitled, “In Jerusalem and in All Judea and Samaria” which describes the influences
that shaped his faith and perspective of the church. In the third part, “To the Ends of the Earth,” is the
story of God doing extraordinary things around the world using ordinary churches and ordinary people.
Each chapter contains questions and reflections allowing the reader to think about their own story and
to share it with others.
This is a very informative book about the work of Living Water International and is an encouragement as
to what is right with the church today as God uses his people to work together to make a difference in
the lives of those in our community, and in the world.
