OVERVIEW

This is a story about strengths and weaknesses. A young lady, strong in beliefs, education, supporting women’s suffrage. Set in 1893 in Tacoma, Washington before the naming of Mount Rainier. Times and beliefs about women were much different from today. It is a heartwarming story which made me consider how our beliefs change as we mature. Reading this book gave me a desire to travel the National Parks.

ASSESSMENT

The main character does not practice any religion but comes to a belief in God.
