Overview:
Libby Kingsley finds just the place to be a librarian, in a small town in Michigan. Sadly she finds the library is in a poor location and has really old, outdated books. The town really needs a new building to house the library.
But the only funds available are those being channeled into the new town square, and the landscape architect in charge of the project, Austin Williams, wants nothing to do with her plans. So how will these two projects get accomplished and what of Libby and Austin? Is there a romance in the offing?
Novelist Tari Faris takes us back to the small town with a big heart in this second book in the Restoring Heritage series.
Rating:
4 out of 5
Suggested audience:
Young adult to adult.
Christian Impact:
Good.
Other notes:
This is a good book but I gave it a 4. Somehow it didn’t keep my interest. There is another book in the series before this one so maybe more of the story would have been helpful. Sometimes, there was just too much going on: newborn preemie baby, an Alzheimer’s case, two romances and a new town square.
