Penelope Jean Hunter is an event manager in Savannah, Georgia who loves to plan weddings for others; but not for the groom who left her at the altar over three years ago.

She is intent on saving the event planned for the Ladies Historical League of Savannah but it is about to be canceled due to  a rumor against her best friend, Tucker Westbrook, who is running for sheriff. To clear Tucker’s name, Tucker and Penelope work together examining an old diary that may hold clues to find the treasure. But they have a clear deadline, before the upcoming election.
