Readers will love this parade of animals on their way to visit the King of Kings. The Illustrations are amazing, so beautifully done. Add to this artwork, wording that describes the Palestinian landscape and the many animals bringing gifts to Jesus in an amazing way. Turns of phrase like “ a fragile flask of alabaster” or “vessel and mane shimmery golden” and “baskets bulging with dried apricot cakes”. These and so much more. A literary and visual delight!
