Length:

398 pages

Overview:

Time travel in three stages; 1861, 1941 and 2001. Imagine going to sleep at night only to awake in another time. This historical novel takes place in three completely different time periods beginning with the conflict in America in 1861 with the Civil War, 1941 and the bombing of Pearl Harbor and the 2001 bombing of the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

Maggie’s parents were time crossers and she inherited that ability. Each morning she awakes in a different time and lives three separate lives. But at the age of twenty-one she must make a permanent decision of where she will live forever.

Maggie is the daughter of a senator as the Civil War breaks out but in 1941 she is a navy nurse going to Pearl Harbor. In 2001, Maggie is hoping to follow her dream and become a surgeon. Of course in each time period there is a love interest and readers wonder how she will pick one time period to be her forever life.

This author has so much historical information in her book that it really holds interest. A page turner-you never know from one day to the next what will happen, from one generation to another.
