Overview:

I highly recommend this story of James at the time of the crucifixion and the weekend of the resurrection. The author seamlessly takes readers between the events occurring surrounding Jesus’ death and James’ experience as he grew up, Jesus’ younger brother. His recollections of his childhood and then adult life in the family of Mary and Joseph, flesh out for readers a part of Jesus’ life that we may not have considered as well as intertwining many miracles that we have read of in the Bible. Of course, a reminder is in order that the book, despite containing much truth is also fiction as well.
