Overview:

Trish Card has questions about her parents. Her mother died of cancer when she was a child living in a poor ethnic neighborhood. A neighbor took her in to raise her. Trish was a school dropout, she got her GED and scholarship to college with a degree in journalism.

Her search takes her to become the Office Assistant to Pastor Matthew Goodman. Goodman is megachurch pastor, he is tired and his world seems to be out of control.

This is a very intriguing mystery as Trish searches church records to find her mother had worked at this same church before  Trish was born. The plot has twists and turns and only the truth will uncover what the shadows have kept secret.
