The story is a dual time journey along a road trip on Route 66. Jade meets a movie actress from the early 40s and 50s and travels across country with Benny, and her adult foster son. Listening to Benny tell the story of her recently deceased husband which brings back memories to her of the man she knew as daddy, yet was labeled a kidnapper and a monster.

We are all damaged or imperfect people living our lives as best we can. Follow the journey with these three and their self discoveries. This author paints a journey as if you are riding along on this road trip.
