Format:
Paperback
Length:
390 pages
Overview:
For a lifetime is a very compelling story, I read it almost in one sitting! Identical twin sisters Grace and Hope are time-crossers. They live in both 1692 Salem, Massachusetts, the time of the Salem witch trials and 1912 in New York City in the burgeoning age of aeronautics. On their 25th birthday they each must choose which time period will be theirs for life.
In 1692 both Grace and Hope work in their father’s ordinary, the local tavern, and watch as village women are threatened by the possibility that any of them can be labeled witches and suffer the death penalty.
In New York, Hope is a flying sensation, making headlines and history. Grace works as an investigative journalist, making her own headlines by uncovering injustice and fraudulence. Both are anticipating the day they can live in their chosen world. But when an almost unbearable tragedy occurs, their lives are turned upside down. Can their trust in the Lord see them through this disaster and into their future?

Particularly fans of time lapse fiction
Christian impact:
In the author’s words, “ As I write each story, the characters are dealing with the dilemmas in much the same way that I would. Leaning on their faith, seeking God’s will, talking with people they love and respect, and ultimately trusting that God is in control.”
