Overview:

1948 Colorado and Mercy Windsor is a new person in town. She is escaping a scandal as a Hollywood leading lady and would like to live in obscurity. Mercy buys a rundown and abandoned estate, Wildwood, and begins its restoration.

Early days in Colorado, Mercy had a childhood pen pal that she lost touch with. Now as she works to restore Wildwood, the lore of the mountain seems to call to her about her Rust y Bright, her long lost pen pal and the vanishing of the infamous Galloping Goose Railcar No. 8. It seems the ghosts of the past are mingling with Mercy’s future.
