Overview:

This is a lovely book to read to a young child experiencing adoption or foster care. It reaffirms the parent’s love for the child no matter what. The illustrations are appealing and the text is easy flowing and rhyming, making it a joy to read. This book could be read to any child, it helps the child to feel loved and secure even though not perfect.

Suggested audience:

For children 8 and under, particularly those going through adoption or foster care. This book would be a nice addition to a church library.

Christian Impact:

While Christianity is not specifically mentioned, nor are there any bible verses, the concept of parents loving their children and forgiveness are Christian values.
