300 pages

Overview:

I have read many books about the Amish – this is a unique storyline. Stephanie Miller, a very sheltered Amish woman in her early twenties, makes a trip to the Dollar Store every month. Only this visit is different as Stephanie witnesses a murder. The murderer looks directly in her eyes and if it hadn’t been for the quick thinking actions of Bev Anderson, social worker who actually knows Timothy, the murderer, Stephanie would most likely have suffered the same fate.

Readers then are involved with Stephanie as well as Bev Anderson, her can-do-anything brother Hardy who steps in to rescue Stephanie, and Timothy himself. Bev and Hardy and his boss, Carter, do all they can to keep Stephanie out of the reaches of the killer and the gang he is part of but cannot seem to keep many steps ahead of them. You will encounter danger and suspense as well as a sweet romance, well, actually two sweet romances. Fans of Amish fiction and Shelley Shepard Gray will not want to miss this.
