Sisters Chloe and Lauren both need to have hard conversations with their mother, Edie. Chloe organizes a 9-day literary road trip for them, in the hopes that shared experiences will create better relationships for the sharing of her own secret.  However, for a number of days, Edie’s fears, Lauren’s insecurities and Chloe’s longing for approval make it hard for any of them to really share their deepest thoughts, or to really see each other.  By journey’s end, however, circumstances have allowed them to see who the others are: their greatest supporters.
