Author Laura Murray expands our ideas of welcome and hospitality using stories from her church ministry and family. She really opens our eyes to hospitality being more than place or presentation but our heart’s attitude and spirit as well as or perhaps more than. At the end of each chapter, she also includes a spiritual practice, i.e. centering prayer, non-judgement and others. The book is definitely a call to a greater closeness and caring with those we meet and greet each day.
