Overview:

The setting is Poland in 1939. Our main female character, Adia Kensington intends to bring a priceless Arabian stallion to the United States but her plans are drastically changed when the Nazis invade her country. She never dreamed this was the beginning of six years of occupation, six long years that would keep her from goal as well from those she has come to love. Her male counterpart in the story is American Bret Conway, under the guise of being a journalist but he is really in intelligence. As Adia and Bret work together to save these amazing animals, their love grows for each other.
