Overview:

Marshal Owen Riley and his fellow Marshals are escorting an escaped prisoner as well as  Delaney Bridger and her brother, back to Fort Russell. The date is July 1872. They are shot at by unseen bandits bringing injury and in some cases,  death to their party. With their lives on the line, they need to help the injured and find shelter.

This attack leaves Delaney’s brother Boone seriously injured. Danger continues to loom over them while Delaney and Owen attempt to nurse Boone back to health, developing a relationship along the way. But can they have a future together?
