Cressida Dane is an investigative writer attempting to complete her deceased father’s manuscript on shipwrecks. She is estranged from her mother who is a high up government employee. A county detective, Braden Sanders, is sent on mission to Hidden Bay. His assignment is to procure medical treatment for his niece and to do that he is assigned as protection for Cressida who has put herself, through her research, in the throes of danger.  Romance and suspense abound as well as forgiveness and amends. Great story.
