I personally really like these types of books where two or more characters show their deepest needs to the readers and we get to see how it all comes together eventually. In this case, two sisters and their recalcitrant mother set off on a nine day literary trip to visit important sites, sites concerning well known authors.

Chloe wants to tell her mom that she has taken a job in a Christian school in Prague, a low paying art instructor, and she knows her mother will not approve. Chloe is the dreamer of the three while Lauren has always been considered the responsible one. But Lauren has her own secret – she has lost her job due to a rather silly mistake and she, too, is hesitant to tell their mother.

And Edie, well, she is difficult and carrying her own emotional luggage due to the recent death of her other. How are they all going to come together emotionally and give to each one what they really need-acceptance and understanding?
