Jabari Hall is a successful hockey player, usually victorious, who suffered an accident on the ice. Testing reveals that he has macular degeneration and is losing his eyesight. Wanting to cheer him up, his teammates set him up on a blind date with Val Elliott. She is definitely nervous about going but when she arrives, her date is none other than her older sister’s ex-boyfriend who jilted her. Does she stay or does she go?

Val never expected anything except anger towards Jabari but when he shares about his vision problem, it does touch her heart and that begins a friendship between the two. Can this be friendship turns into love for Jabari and Val?
