Overview:
I think if Joanna Politano wrote the phone book, I would be excited to read it because she writes such great characters. Her classic gothic books are interesting and very intriguing because you are never quite sure where she is going and who you can trust.
Merryn has lost her memory, and she is unsure whom she can trust. On impulse she marries a man she barely knows and may live to regret it. So starts a journey of recovery of her memories.
This is an Edwardian dual time mystery set in Cornwall in 1913 and 1947. It is an interesting read that continuously made me want to stay home from, well everything, just so I could read. Politano’s books will have that effect on you so prepare accordingly.
Rating:
5 out of 5

Fans of historical fiction and mystery buffs
