It is always fun to find a book that you like that honestly you weren’t expecting to. Twenty Something Else by Stephanie Mack is just such a book. I know I am not the target audience, and it really isn’t my favorite genre, a bit of time travel, but I found myself really enjoying the read. In fact, I found myself arguing with and cheering on the main character because I found myself relating, a lot.

It is the eve of Sutton’s 40th birthday and she is granted her wish to see what her life would have been like if she had chosen differently the night she met her husband.

The main theme of the book is contentment. Finding contentment in the life you have. (I am not saying to stay in an abusive relationship) With a bit of a taste of  It’s a Wonderful Life, this book was a joy to read, even though I didn’t warm up to Sutton until we were part way through the book.

So, trust me, grab this book, find a perfect reading spot and be reminded that the life you have is the one God planned for you.
