Format:

Hardcover

Length:

32 pages

OVERVIEW
Author Rivadeneira presents readers the stories of fifteen women in Scripture, ranging from Eve to Mary Magdalene, using both the Old and New Testament. Each page gives the story of the character and their fame along with an illustration ending with the phrase God did great things for me-and I did great things for God. Also included is a verse regarding each example.

The author’s intent is for girls to have models from the Bible who stand for God’s truth and for faith in a graceful manner yet gritty, spunky, strong! The only criticism this reviewer would offer is not being sold on the phrase “and I did great things for God”. Humility should also be a trait of these graceful and gritty women and giving God the glory.

The illustrations are bright and very appealing. Young girls will enjoy this book and hopefully imagine themselves following God in modern circumstances.
