Overview:

Star of Persia is a Biblical novel about Esther. The plot includes many things; intrigue from the king attempting to live up to his father’s expectations, wars abound, including one that King Xerxes never intended to wage but his father did.  The custom of the times is the hierarchy of the kings where they are allowed multiple wives and everyone fights for their own rights. This is the world Esther entered when she became queen, a role she never imagined for herself. But God himself has placed Esther in this position to save her people.

Besides being fiction based on a book of the Bible, the story also weaves in the struggles of the Jewish faith.
