Organic disciples: Seven ways to grow spiritually and naturally share Jesus

Kevin G. Harney and Sherry Harney

Zondervan Reflective

269 pages

The Harneys come from very different backgrounds and combined, they bring a fresh and natural prospective to ways to share Jesus. Co-founders of Organic Outreach International, they have spent over forty years together, writing many books and honing their evangelism skills and their approach to sharing those with others. One of their main contentions is that all Christians should share their faith and that there are a myriad of ways to do that.

In Passionate Prayer, Sherry speaks to prayer and particularly to praying “at the drop of a hat”, with other Christians and those who are not, with any who are in need, and whether you have an hour or only a moment. This chapter could change your prayer life!

The authors speak to prayer, worship, service, generosity, community and outreach, in all these areas weaving in sharing Christ. This is a must read for all Christians.

-Includes notes for each chapter

-includes info on Organic Outreach

I don’t know where to start in my praise for this book and it’s Christian impact. Part 5 on joyful generosity is so good it is worth the reading of the book!
