Promises! Dinah promises her father as he is dying that she will take care of her young stepmother, Loretta, Loretta’s children and her expected brother or sister. With all these responsibilities along with work and church, is there any room for love?

Enter into her life, Aaron Smucker who, just like Dinah, always puts family first. His brother Titus is a shell of himself after the death of his wife, KatieAnn, and barely scrapes through life paying little attention to anything even his young son Benji. Aaron has promised to keep his family together and do what he can for both Titus and his son.

Fulfilling their promises – falling in love was not part of their plan yet God can make a way and He does!
