The author takes us between 1963 and twenty year old Annie, dreaming of managing a dance studio and then to the present day with Missy, Annie’s granddaughter, always living in the shadow of her sister, Erica, a professional singer. We follow Annie’s life as she sacrifices many of her dreams for her younger sister and her sister’s baby. On to the modern day where Missy discovers Annie’s long kept secret while struggling with her own life problems and loss of faith.

Many of the scenarios are often experiences Christians have as well so readers will relate to the experiences of Annie and Missy.
