Lady Margaret Kingsley is an 1895 lady who suffers great pain from and accident. Confined to a wheelchair, she lives at home with her parents. Her father is an inventor and Margaret is also one, belonging to a covert women’s society of inventors. In that day and age women could not be open about inventing. When she meets Charles Noble  he is quickly drawn to her. Unusual events cause the two to be caught up in the same mysteries and they can’t avoid the “sparks” that fly between them.
