Format:

Paperback

Length:

182 pages

Overview:

Hale Frodele might be what some people would call a “vegetable” but his mind is as sound as yours or mine. The bus accident that incapacitated Hale took the life of his brother and came shortly after the death of his mother. A lot for a family to take and still be intact. The Frodele family is not! Hale’s dad remarried and his new wife is resentful of all the time, effort and money that goes into Hale’s care. And that care is very pricey, so pricey that Doug Frodele borrowed a large amount of money from some very unsavory characters. Now as they say, it is time to pay the piper and Doug doesn’t have the money nor any way to get it! And the threats are getting more drastic every day!

For fans of mystery and suspense, this is a great tale. Teens and adults both will enjoy it immensely. I just discovered this author and am already reading a second book by him!

Rating:

5 out of 5

Suggested audience:

Teens age 13 on up to adults, especially mystery and suspense fans

Christian impact:

Our main character, presumed brain dead after a church bus accident, is a strong Christian whose thoughts are filled with his prayers and commentary on his beliefs.
