Filled with action and suspenseful twists, readers will enjoy the plot and the characterization both as well as a satisfactory ending that will leave you looking forward to the next book in the series.

Rating:

3 out of 5

Suggested audience:

Fantasy fans, particularly teens

Christian impact:

An allegory that definitely reflects a Christian lifestyle, using Scripture and references to the Rescuer. But the author, in his note, is quick to state that, “The Rescuer is a representative of Christ, but he is not Christ. The Sacred Scrolls of Keledev are a representation of God’s Word, by they are not the Word.”  He wants the reader to understand this is an allegory.
