Who doesn’t love the smell of pies baking? Prince Edward Island is a destination for many, partly because the inn has a state of the art kitchen.

How to pay for tuition to culinary school? Bake enough pies to sell at holiday markets? Then Whitney Garrett’s oven breaks! She reaches out to Marie Sloan who runs the Red Door Inn. Marie agrees but makes a deal with Whitney to watch the Sloan children so she can use the kitchen. And Whitney also must fix breakfasts for the guests of the inn.

Aretha Sloan convinces Whitney to act as a matchmaker hoping two guests will fall in love, one of them Aretha’s nephew. The deeper into this scheme that Whitney gets, the more she realizes Aretha’s nephew, Daniel,  might just be the right guy for her!
