Overview:

During the Second World War in Belgium, a young woman, Ruth DeVos, must face life and the war without her family. Her parents have been arrested so she has no idea where they are and her only brother, Andrew, joins the Dutch Resistance. Ruth seeks refuge at Still Waters Inn where a kindly Dutchman, gives safety to many under his roof. During this time, Ruth begins writing anonymously for the La Libre Belgique, an infamous undercover rebel newspaper. At Still Waters she also meets Ezra Pik, intriguing and a still water himself.

The yellow badge follows Ruth as she does her writing and attempts to keep a low profile until she is imprisoned and she must take a stand for freedom!
