Emery Quinn takes a job back home as editor-in-chief of the local paper, the Sea Blue Beach Gazette,  although newsprint is almost a thing of the past. But the past is on her mind as she is flooded with memories of a long time ago, actually sixteen years ago.  Architect Caleb Ransom also returns home to this community that is divided with change purposing to help his family. But it seems their young love of sixteen summers ago is rekindling.
