Add to the mix, nurse Evie Miller who is a delight to work with and in love with Charlie to boot, adding one more complication to the mix.

As always balancing modern medicine with Amish old ways and making everyone happy is not an easy task. Dok’s brother, the bishop, is always a wonderful character in these books, making the reader wish David was her pastor or neighbor or brother. His wisdom makes a difference is so many scenarios.
