Overview:

Salome is the mother of James and John, a role she cherishes thought she was known as a wild girl with a sharp tongue when she was growing up along the Sea of Galilee. When her sons decide to follow Jesus of Nazareth, this causes Salome to dig deep within herself to make a choice about following this young rabbi.

Having traveled through the Holy Land myself, I felt like was walking Salome’s path. There was so much emotion in the story. I also felt that I learned more about the disciples as well as Salome herself.
