Everyone in the Kingdom of Twinsbane has a double and they are cursed to die when their double passes on. There is such a potion as a separator but the king has it hidden away and will allow no one to have access to it. Even when a deadly plague in the kingdom arises, King Daccias is adamant.

What if the king had a doppelganger? Could that make a difference if that person could step into the light and reveal themselves? Surely Daccias would want to preserve his own life by using the potion?

Waruu is a young orphan who actually is the king’s double. He has a plan to switch places with Daccias and change the entire direction of the kingdom. Will his plan work? Is it worth the try or will it make a desperate situation even worse?
