Overview:

Once again Naomi Stephens blesses us with a delightful little story that will make you laugh out loud in places and even roll your eyes once in a while. It was just a light fun read.
When a second body is found after the Earl’s funeral, Crispin, the new Earl, joins forces with Hippolyta to figure out who would want the undertaker dead. The only real problem with this is Hippolyta is there only because she and her family were hired as professional mourners. What follows is a lot of shenanigans.
This title is a wonderful read for the mystery reader, but also those who just want a sweet story. I know it seems strange to say that about a book that is a murder mystery, but really it is just a good read.

Rating:

5 out of 5

Suggested audience:

Mystery fans and fans of lighthearted fiction

Christian impact:

A light clean read for those who enjoy mysteries.
